Dead in Water: Chapter 1

The quiet streets of the lost city, wet from the rain, a slight chill in the

winter air. Footsteps echoed on the empty streets, as a shadowed danced

against the wall. The moonlight shined down on the boy, The Melodious Nocturne.

He held his soul close to him, his sitar. His fingers, danced against the strings.

Creating a lullaby that eased the storm. A light rain began to fall. Making his way

to the castle where the nobodies lie. The young water mage came across

something that caught his eye. He stopped playing the sitar and it vanished. A

building taller then the rest, and what seem to be several little televisions and a

big one on top. They flickered, each one made ere noise. The boy gripped his head

and looked up to the TVs. One TV went black then the next and the next one.

Then all the TVs lit up each one showing something different. One showed a little

girl, another showed to boys, they seemed to be twins. The next one showed a

woman, and the other showed a tall dark shadow. The big television showed a

message, it said “Myde.”

“Myde?” the boy whispered.

“Do you remember?” the next message said. Then all the TVs went black.

“What was that about?...” the boy asked himself. He shrugged, then

began to make his way toward the castle. Suddenly a sharp pain stuck him in the

head. He gripped his head and fell to his knees. Everything flashed in front of him.

Then all went black…
